Molly Clark-Barol is completing a Joint PhD in Sociology and Human Ecology. She received her BA from Yale University in 2008. In the interim, she worked on issues of gender equity in academia in the USA, sustainable development and environmental conservation in Nepal, nutrition policy in Liberia, and community development and rights in Nigeria. As a researcher, she is concerned with issues of epistemological (in)justice and uses participatory and community-based methods to explore how different kinds of knowledge inform policy, whose experience counts as knowledge, who gets to sit at the table to decide these things, and the policy consequences for individuals and communities.
