UW Madison is home to one of the leading Gender and Women’s Studies programs in the country and has robust offerings through the GWS Department. In collaboration with Gender and Women Studies, the 4W Women and Wellbeing Initiative aims to compliment this by identifying focused gendered learning opportunities in other schools at our campus. This resource is designed to help students discover classes that explore themes of gender, equity, and women’s empowerment across diverse disciplines. Please note that some special topics courses listed may not be offered on a regular basis. If you have questions or would like to suggest additions or removals, please contact us at 4w@sohe.wisc.edu. Special thanks and acknowledgements to Dr. Kate Phelps (Gender and Women’s Studies Teaching Faculty) and Emma Contreras (4W Undergraduate Intern) for their work and contributions to this project.
