Olivia Anderson is the Communications and Social Media Intern for the 4W Initiative. She is a senior majoring in Sociology and Gender & Women’s Studies. Previously she has worked in communication for the Campus Women’s Center and assisted in research projects concerning women’s health and wellbeing after periods of migration, both in the U.S. and at the Thai-Myanmar border. She hopes to go to graduate school for Sociology so she can study how gender norms are impacted by forced migration in addition to the larger structure of the global refugee process. Olivia is excited to promote the efforts to improve women’s health and wellbeing in a global context at the 4W Initiative.
