Access to Information: Women’s Knowledge Digital Library

Women’s Knowledge Digital Library (WKDL) is a partnership of the UW System GWS Librarian’s Office, Women’s Knowledge InternationalUW System Gender & Women’s Studies Consortium, and the UNESCO Chair on Gender, Wellbeing and a Culture of Peace at UW-Madison, and 4W.

The WKDL offers lists of resources, including websites, reports, articles, research, and audiovisual materials, that are available to students and researchers across the UW system as well as the general public. These lists are curated by topics ranging from Aging to Female Genital Mutilation to Zines.

In addition to the WKDL, the UW System GWS Librarian’s office also publishes research guides; a quarterly review of feminist periodicals; as biannual review of new books on gender and feminism; and Feminist Collections, a quarterly review of the latest print, electronic, and audiovisual resources for research and teaching in women’s studies.
